This Video was recorded October 2008 Although the headwrap may look like it's cotton, it's actually 95% Polyester 5% Spandex. You're choice of fabric may be silk or satin only (I do not get along with either because they always eventually slide off ). Therefore, I choose Blended Fabrics (polyester, rayon, spandex, which may include a little cotton or cotton blend, etc) for my headwraps, As of today, I haven't experienced any breakage from using 100% polyester or blended fabrics as a headwrap. Note: When you think of cotton not being used near your beautiful mane, I do not think they were speaking of headwraps made of blended material, but of Cotton Pillow Cases. When you're sleeping at night, you tend to twist and turn, causing your hair to rub against the pillowcase. If you're already dealing with damage from relaxers, highlights, colors, perms, or heat, then cotton would not be a great choice for a pillowcase.
